Facebook isn’t the only one making efforts to clean up its ad platform.
Google also recently rolled out a new ad verification tool, which allows users to check if an ad has been “disputed” by a company or a third party.
Facebook already has an anti-fake-news policy, and is working to increase that in the future.
But the social networking giant’s efforts appear to be more about helping advertisers find a new audience, rather than solving the problem of fake content.
